Discovering Science in Mall of Asia

I've heard of a Science Discovery Center in SM Mall of Asia since last year (i think!) and I've been wanting to go there since then but having an erratic and ever-changing schedule (at syempre ang iba pang mga pinagkakaabalahan aside from work ;p) I havent had the time. Fortunately, my now-more-normal-person-schedule allows me to go and have fun.

The entrance fee is 330php for the gallery display and the 30-minute show inside the Planetarium. It's worth the pesos since you can explore the place in your own pacing and try the different displays they have.

I really enjoyed this experience and I felt like i'm a kid again. Weeee hahaha :D

Below are very few photos I managed to take (notice this time I don't have a picture of my own fez --> just giving chance to others nyahahaha :p)

On the first floor there's Digistar Planetarium where they showed a 30minute (or less) clip entitled 'The Search for Life: Are We Alone' and narrated by Harrison Ford

Then there's the Transportation Nation where you can try the Flight Stimulation (hindi ma-reach ng utak ko kung pano aayusin ang pagpapalipad nun andun sa screen! waaah try nyo baka mapagtanto nyo!) also, I was able to design a car and was rated for the materials I've used per parts.

On the same floor, there's the Grossology section,


where we get to meet the Burp Man

And I won the Grossology game over Gene. Yey! hahaha ;p I know, I'm gross! nyahaha :p

On the second floor we entered the Virtual Reef where we get to meet Mr. Tee, the talkingfish

Oh! before I forget, on the first floor, we played volleyball, soccer and basketball in their Media City. I have a video clip of Gene shooting hoops virtually and it was really funny if your not looking on the monitor! ahahaha sayang I can't upload it since the file size is too large (o hindi lang ako talaga marunong! amp)

E gusto ko lang naman sabihin na I miss you ♥! At syempre pa ynggit ako kasi anjan ka sa Amorita Resort sa Panglao, Bohol at nakita mo ang mga Tarsier at ang Chocolate Hills! at higit sa lahat --> yan ay ALL EXPENSE-PAID NG COMPANY! ahuhuhu. *green with envy*

I wish I could go there (sana all expense-paid din! ahahaha☺)

Ngayong summer ☼ saan nga ba maganda pumunta??

I want someplace na hindi crowded (like the crowd sa Boracay)! gusto ko yung feel na feel mo ang peaceful vacation at tipong sa sceneries pa lang eh mapapananga ka na, maganda rin na maraming pwedeng gawing activities aside from swimming. (pero hindi ako mishadung marunong lumangoy ahahaha kaya hindi ko nafifeel ang summer eh!)

Lovely Monday Morning

It's monday morning. It's a Sunny day. Gonna be a wonderful day!

Normally I find myself heading home straight from work but today, MY OH MY, I am preparing to go to the office. (hahaha for a change I'm doing the 9-5 normal office girl routine! --> only for a short stint though 'cause our schedule changes before you can say YEY OFF! next thing you know 1 lang ang off mu that week at bago na naman ang schedule mo! Argh!)

As I walked out of our house I noticed that it's a beautiful day outside, weather's not too hot and I even heard birds chirping. Poocha! parang gusto kong kumanta ng "Oh, what a beautiful mornin',
Oh, what a beautiful day. I got a beautiful feelin' Ev'rything's goin' my way." na hindi ko naman talaga alam ang tono at na-google ko lang bwahahaha! =>

So as we cruise along Ayala (sakay ng jeep na pampasahero), mejo traffic pero hindi ko ito alintana dahil nga it's a wonderful morning and I'm oh so feeling fine! I saw an executive (malay ko kung exec talaga sapagkat sya'y naka power suit ahahah ;p) buying taho (ung soy with syrup and sago) and it made me realize that there are some simple things, foods, habits that you want, eat, do and they make you happy. There are some thing from our childhood that we cannot outgrow.

Bakit ba ako ngbblog ngayon? Wala naman, natuwa lang ako sa isang magandang umaga na aking nasaksihan ngayon..usually kasi pauwi pa lang ako pagumaga at hindi ko napapansin ang aking paligid sapagkat ako'y sobrang pagod sa pagtatrabaho. (wow busy! haha)

I hope Monday Mornings are always wonderful so I can be more inspired to do the things I do and start the work week right!

Friends spells F-U-N!!

For this weekend we hang out at Lheng's crib somewhere in Novaliches, QC. Im a bit late though (oh, okay.. well I'm really really late! ahehehee - I've got an alibi though - had a date -).

When I arrived, they are all there and creating chaos in the house! peace!

First, I ate, hehe who can resist food?! Food is my comfort. It helps me relax and makes me happy!

Since we missed going to videoke bars (we often do it during college weee) we all sing our hearts out, uh well, mostly John did since he won't pass the microphone to us and probably thought of staging his mini concert! nyahahaha

ABK bonding moments would never be the same if we don't have our photo ops, so here are some of the photos I stole from my friends' sites.

My World Smiles More...

Sounds cheezy ayt?! hahaha What can I do, I can't help it!! ☺

Let me start of by saying, 2007 was a great year!

A few months after graduation I got a job.. yeah not an ideal job I should say, but hey! it pays the bills (not that I've got lots to pay) and also it gets me things I'm used to without asking mom for allowance (shame on me if I'm still doing this! ahehehe), helps in paying for my vacations or my weekly gimiks or even just an intimate dinner with friends! Weee

Also, I learned to open my heart, trust and gave love another chance (of breaking my heart again! I hope not! ahehehe)

2007 lets me experience new things, gain new knowledge,hurdle new problems, get to meet new people and have new friends, set new priorities and goals, rekindle my faith and ties with the Lord and... get to meet the one person I have learned to trust and love.

I had a blast in '07 and I am looking forward to other new things in my life in the Year of the Rat!

Topsey Turvey Ride [Delayed Posting]

Howdy folks?

I have had a lot of things going on -- did a lot of things, visited different places but I'm not able to blog it. You see I'm a photoholic, I love showing uploading photos instead of posting photo-less boring article. I have tons of pictures in my multiply site, call me narcissistic if you must, but that's me! [Fine, maybe I'm just being lazy-uh or whatever!]

Anyhoo, last December 8, I went out with zee boyfie and off we went to Mall of Asia for our pre-monthsary [is there even such a thing?!] date. ♥

Then we went to the Global Fun Carnival [a.k.a Eurostar Carnival] and I so looove their Ferris Wheel where I get a good view of the Metro, err, more like the side of Manila Bay. lol. We went inside attractions after attractions such as Pirates and Jurrasic. I'm not really a fan of those haunted house-like features wherein staff in ghoulish attires randomly jump out at you, literally, and give you a heart attack! [scares the hell outta me!] Zee boyfie wanted to ride the Ranger, the one that makes a full 360-degree turn. Geesh, I turned green just looking at the stomach-hurling ride. Instead, I suggested we ride Flipper first since it doesn't flip our stomach upside down. Lady luck must be on my side tonight as after the Flipper ride he felt sick that he didn't feel going in for another innards-flipping adventure. hahaha

The Magic Stays

As a well-deserved day out, our team (BW) went to Enchanted Kingdom to enjoy the rides (uh kinda) and basically to reminiscent and re-lived our childhood days.

Weee I still love Rio Grande! I still haven't conquered my fear with Space Shuttle (I guess I won't ever be.. especially after hearing the news late last night that this ride suspended mid-air with actual people holding on to the safety seatbelts and praying for dear life!)
