Negativity Surrounds Me

Finally!

Months (or was it years?) of reasoning out why I need a netbook came to a halt last week, as we've decided to get me a pretty nifty li'l lappie (and it's a dainty pink!)

I was so excited as I think of the things I'll be writing and photos I will be posting. I keep smiling to myself as I draft and hang on to the train of thoughts which I think were good for my blogging articles. But, alas! more than a week had passed and all I did was surf surf and surf the net for online shopping, social networks, games, live streaming, download movies and none of the writing or blogging stuff!

Darn! I am too lazy to even type a single article, much more to keep a personal blogging site! (just a waste of cyber space) I think I am kidding myself when I said that I will be using online blogging as a therapeutic way to release all tensions and negativity that is all around me. The real therapy I have in mind is shopping! Yes, retail therapy! As it has always been -- it doesn't matter if it's in the mall or in a virtual space -- as long as I get to buy stuff I like! I know this is bad for my wallet's health but for the time being, this is my way of calming, healing and getting rid of the bad energies that is so strongly hovering above me and is waiting for me to breakdown before it eats me up alive!

In time, I will be able to keep my shopaholic tendencies to a minimum, but for now, let me have my own therapeutic way of dealing  and coping in  this big bad world.

This is what illustrates how I am feeling the past few days.. gloomy, dark, lost, however you might want to interpret the photo.. it's such a creepy feeling that I need to dislodge, and fast!!

PS: I sure am sorry for all this negativity I am releasing in the cyber world. Bear with me for a li'l while. I am hoping to be a li'l cheery and bright SOON..

Shutterfly Adventure in Zambales

Turkey Day in the US! Wee no work! Oh well, it doesnt matter since the day is really my work off. Anyway, half of the team (i think..) went on a resort in Pundaquit, Zambales. It's 1.5 hours away from Subic, but since we're not familiar with the place (well i think none of us really know) it probably took us moooore than that.

The road to the resort is, well sorta creepy (its pitch dark when we drove on the narrow winding road that seems to lead us nowhere.. hehe)

I love it when we island hop to Anawangin Cove! It's picturesque. Amazing rock formations (too bad dont have a camera with me -> but i doubt i'll be able to take decent pictures since the boat ride was rather rough with the presence of temperamental waves) It's really peaceful and relaxing!

I definitely will go back to Anawangin (and hopefully to Capones Island after) but i cant say the same to Megan's Resort, where we stayed for the night.

Check out some of our photos below:

More Photos here! ^_^

You guys might wanna check out and visit Anawangin Cove, and don't forget to island hop to Capones after! (Just make sure you take precautions and safety measures wherever you'll travel)

Enjoy! tata

Of Anniversary and Relaxation in the City of Pines -- late post

This is a super late post, but anyway here goes:

We celebrated our 1st milestone last November 9, 2008 up in the City of Pines. This is also timely since I'm already burned out from the hustle bustle in the work place. It's very relaxing to feel the cool November breeze, smell the scent of pine trees around and just take our own sweet time exploring the city --the best part is-- we have each other for 4 sweet days!! READ: No interrupting phone calls, emails, computer games, errands, etc etc. No pressures and other stress-triggering matters.

Here are some of the photos we've managed to capture.

Birthday Getaway

Had my birthday getaway last July 26 to July 29. It was an awesome weekend! Away from the rat-race and the stressful traffic jam in the metro. Went out of town with my boo at Subic's Blue Rock Resort for a rainy swimming.

Got the rain, sand and salt waters on our hair and skin. It was fun, specially if you get to spend it with someone closest to your heart.

PS: My besfriends send their warmest greetings. I am so sorry if I wont be able to treat you out this time or if I wasnt able to spend my birthday with you guys. I'll make it up to you next time. I miss you all! Hhay antagal na natin di nagkikita kita! What happened to our Friday nights dinner or movie date?! -- I guess time keeps us physically apart, but it still we have each other in our hearts.. that'll do for now, until we're able to keep up with everyone's schedule. ^_^

Missing My Bebis

We've been through hell and back through college! (exaggerated for emphasis! nyahaha)

Most people say that highschool is the best and it highlights the adolescence stage in life. While I don't disagree with it, for me the best and most memorable phase in my life was during my college years. Of course it's not the best time of your school life since there are tons to do in college -thesis, video productions, plays and other presentations, research and interviews left and right, not to mention that in my Alma Matter, peepz are scholarly competitive! Whew! nyahaha that's one thing I don't like much in college!- This is where I learned to be human enough to admit my mistakes and weaknesses, and I've discovered my strengths and capabilities.

My college days played a big part in my transformation (of course hindi naman ako ngevolve into something new. Katakot naman iyon!) wherein I learned to appreciate simple things and be ever greatful in the life I'm living. Also, it helps that I've got beautiful people I call Friends - who believes in me, helps me every step of the way and keeps me grounded.

In college, I've learned who are real and who are just there for the sake of having a companion (user!! tsk) You don't call yourself a friend just because you always group yourselves in every project or assignment. Seeing each other everyday and having lunch together doesn't count as well.

Friends are people who stay with you through thick and thin (sabi nga ni Jelopy, parang asawa yan! ahahaha ;p) Complicated schedules should never be a hindrance! You don't have to see each other everyday, but you have to have each other in your hearts! ♥♥♥ (naks!)

If you have those people who stick through ups and downs; those who haul you up your feet when you're down and is going through hell-of-difficulties; those who have the guts to kick your ass and tell you upfront the silliest things you did and is still doing, then your lucky, luv.

Why am I blogging today? It's just that I miss my friends. I miss the giggles and laughters even at the most corniest jokes, the pout of the lips when one's making tantrums (wahahaha nggaganun pa?!), and most of all the videoke na naging magic sing sessions (zoshal na!), the camwhoring moments at and pagsshoot ng walang kwentang videos na mapagtripan i-roleplay!

And so I created this miniclip for my ABK Bebis! I miss you guys! Mwahugz

Surprising, unique, and high maintenance.

You're one of a kind, and you don't want anyone to forget it.

You're fun in small doses, but it's easy for people to overdose on you!

Just saw this quiz from a fellow blogger, Island Paradise -since this person left a message to my cbox, I visited her page as well and I saw this quiz at dahil nacurious ako, gusto ko din malaman kung anong klaseng cake ako kungsakasakaling maging isa akong cake! Abay zoshal at Ice cream Cake daw ako hahaha!-
